Loving God - Loving others

What to expect

Here's what you can expect on most Sundays at Mt. Gilead:

Dress: Men & women usually dress casual.

Music: Blended- It will be a mixture of traditional and mildly contemporary music so there will likely be a  few traditional hymns and a few praise choruses or contemporary hymns.

Sermons: The sermons will be a mixture of word-by-word studies or topical studies.  Our goal is to make the Bible a relevant book for living in today's world.  That means we stay true to the text but try to make it simple enough to understand it and to find modern applications for our lives.

Childcare: We have Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 a.m.  Then, during the Worship Service at 10:45 a.m., we provide childcare for bed babies through 2nd Grade and a Children's Church for Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.  Fourth Graders and older will be in our Worship Service.

The best way to find out about a church is to attend for a few services to get the full picture of a church.  A one-time attendance rarely helps you know a church.

Please note that during our present pandemic situation, we are practicing "social distancing."  Masks are not required but encouraged.  If you don't feel well, we respectfully request that you remain home.
