As Solomon searched for the meaning and purpose of life, he sought to find it in pleasure, entertainment, sensuality, etc. He sought it through self-gratification and he found it all meaningless.

Everyone wants to know that their life has purpose and that they are significant. The book of Ecclesiastes is about the search for meaning by examining things we can see. The writer of Ecclesiastes draws the conclusion that everything we can see provides no clues to the meaning of life.

Everyone hopes that death isn't all that bad. But is that true? The Bible clearly teaches that when we die, we will spend eternity with God in heaven or separated from God in hell.

It is important that we know the truth about Jesus. If He was who He said He was then our eternal destiny is at stake.

In our world today, many view all religions as the path to God. This assumes that all religions worship the same God. While there are surface similarities between religions, there are fundmental differences that set them apart. Jesus Christ claimed to be the way, the truth and the life and therefore the only true way to God.

In our world, we face those who deny the existence of God. The Bible shows us ways that God reveals Himself to us if we are willing to open our eyes and minds.

In the second half of the Lord's Prayer or Model Prayer, Jesus teaches the disciples how to pray for their needs both physical and spiritual.

When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them to pray, He gave them what is commonly called "The Lord's Prayer" or "The Model Prayer."

Jesus gives us the perfect model of how we should pray. Not only can we learn from what He taught about prayer, we can learn from His prayers.

Answered prayer depends on our relationship with God. Jesus told us to pray "in His name." This isn't a magical formula but instruction that we must have a growing relationship with Jesus if we are to have the promise of answered prayer.
